How to brief a trainer before an on-site session
Skill Tech Academy · 2026-09-20 · 4 min read

An on-site batch is only as specific as the brief. Send the tasks, the number of people, the language they are comfortable in, and any rule the trainer must not contradict.
Include the practical limits. If there is no space to practise a lift, or no trainer extinguisher, the session should not pretend otherwise. Skill Tech confirms those limits before the date is fixed.
Name a host on the day. That person handles attendance, the room, and the questions that belong to the company rather than the trainer, such as who signs a permit tomorrow.
After the session, keep the attendance list with your own training records. A completion record from Skill Tech, when one is issued, is a record of attendance and the program delivered. It is not a government licence.
